 Are you completely new to Canvas? Maybe you've used Canvas for years and still don't feel like you know exactly what you are doing. Fear not! Whether you are an absolute newcomer to Canvas or an experienced user looking to brush up on the fundamentals, the courses  below have something for you. Students:  If you have been using Canvas and you know how to interact with it, then you can skip the topics you already feel comfortable with and perhaps just focus on one or two topics that you have not done yet.  For example, you have submitted online work but you have never done a Peer Review.

Tips for New Online Learners

We recognize that many of you are first time online students. Many of your professors will also be first time online instructors. We are all going to have to learn together. In order to increase the odds of success for everyone, we recommend following these six tips, outlined in the video below:

  1. Stay current.
  2. Stay in contact.
  3. Use the resources available to you.
  4. Submit your coursework in a timely manner.
  5. Allow time for technical problems.
  6. Enjoy the experience.
