OVERVIEW

 On this page, you will review present and past tense verbs.  You will also be introduced to the future tense.  

  1. First, read the text and study the verb tense charts. 
  2. Then, listen to audio of the text. 


READ & LISTEN

Read:

When you write about stress, you will use present, past, and future tense verbs.  Remember, you use present tense when something is happening right now.  You use past tense for something that finished before now.  You use future tense to talk about something that has not yet happened or will happen soon.

Example: 

Present tense:  Olivia meditates every day.
Past tense:
 Olivia meditated yesterday. 
Future tense:  Olivia will meditate tomorrow.  - OR -  Olivia is going to meditate tomorrow.
