A bank account is a good place to keep money. Bank accounts can help us save money, pay bills, and buy things. Using a debit card or writing a check can be safer than carrying a lot of cash. The bank can also cash checks for free if you have an account.
When you write a check, it's exactly like paying cash. Therefore, you need to make sure you have money in your account before you write a check.

If you want to take cash out of your account at the bank, you can write a withdrawal slip. However, some find it easier to use an ATM machine and your debit card for this.
