Read:
Students in high school and college must take required classes, such as English and math. They can also take elective classes, such as journalism or photography. Classes that are not required for graduation are called electives.
Colleges have different programs. Each program has a different set of requirements. The one thing that all college programs have in common is General Education requirements. All students must take the General Education classes. Look at the list below to learn what some of the General Education requirements are at Washington State community and technical colleges.
