Overview
As the Probationer it is your responsibility to Save the OneNote Tenure Dossier template to your computer and then share it out with your tenure review committee. Be sure to also include the Dean's administrative support as designated by the Dean. You will be the "owner" of the dossier - meaning you will be the one inviting other members to the dossier. You will also own the dossier once your tenure is complete. At that time you can remove all other members and use the dossier as your post-tenure review document if you wish.
As the probationer YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CREATE THE TENURE DOSSIER. You will receive a template from the Administrative Assistant for your division. That template package is the entire dossier - all you have to do is save it to your computer and share it (directions below).
In order to share the tenure dossier with your tenure review committee you will need OneDrive for Business on your computer. It should already be installed on the computer - but I have given you instructions on how to make sure it is there or what to do if you can't find it.
In this module you will find information on
- how to make sure OneDrive for Business is on your computer
- how to set up the tenure dossier and share
- how to add things to the dossier
Things to remember:
- Once you have shared out your dossier you can access it again at any time in OneDrive (see how to add things to the dossier)
- Do NOT add anything to the dossier until AFTER your tenure meeting - things added to the dossier should be finalized copies only.
- Add files as pdfs.
- Pay close attention to how you name things so that the files are easily recognizable inside of the dossier itself (there are instructions for naming conventions inside of the dossier - but basically want to name it -TypeOfDocument.QuarterItHappened.LastnameFirstname(of the committee member making the report).
For example - if Char Gore did an observation of Val Morgan-Krick for winter 2013 it would look like this: ObservationOfMorganKrick.W13.GoreChar.
