I look forward to the time that we will be spending together over the next few weeks. It will be fast paced for sure, but I promise to do all that I can to make our journey as easy as possible and richly rewarding. Our "classroom" culture is Success Through Collaboration. That is to say that I like to keep the lines of communication open. We have a richly diverse class this term which means that we can learn a great deal from each other. The way it works: Work the course through the "Modules." Begin by reviewing the "Syllabus" because this is our class contract. Note the "Late Work Policy" and the assignments, with day and time, as an extension of the syllabus. Also, review the Student Code of Conduct.

Then, go through each tab of the class and carefully read all the information contained in them. Be sure to keep an eye out for the Announcement Board. This is where I will post general responses and give hints and ideas for improvement. You must have Internet access! Please post any questions you have for me to "Ask Dr. Rose" or, use the CANVAS course mail. When you are feeling overwhelmed - and I know you will - just take a deep breath and try to relax. Do not defeat yourself. I am here for you. Just remember: "Success through Collaboration."
