Faculty Awards
The Bob Thaden Exceptional Faculty Award
Faculty, including adjunct faculty who have taught for nine quarters, may be nominated by staff, students, faculty, and community members for the Bob Thaden Exceptional Faculty Award, which recognizes "faculty who contribute in exceptional ways to student learning and the quality of TCC as an institution of higher education serving Tacoma and Pierce County."

The Bob Thaden Faculty Development Award
The Bob Thaden Faculty Development Award allows applicants, who may be tenured faculty or adjuncts who have taught for nine quarters, “to participate in a special professional development activity which otherwise might be too intensive or expensive to be funded by the college.”

Instructional Innovation Grants
To improve instruction, TCC provides Instructional Innovation Grants for the purpose of enhancing “student learning at TCC by funding innovative and creative projects to enhance teaching.” Both tenured and adjunct faculty may apply for these awards.
