TCC will be offering PD virtually this spring quarter. This means we will not be facilitating in-person PD sessions but instead offering PD via video conference or other virtual methods. You'll see some similar types of opportunities, such as workshops and book clubs, that you would see if we were working in person.
Here are some examples of the types of PD you can access virtually during this time:
- Workshops (held via Zoom video conference)
- Remote learning (organized by a department/division, such as EDI)
- Wellness activities (such as mindfulness sessions)
- Art History Book Club (the same monthly sessions as before but now online!)
- ...and more!

Thanks to TCC's OER Librarian, Jennifer Snoek-Brown, and many of you who have been sending opportunities, we have other, non-TCC organized PD opportunities. This means TCC will not be facilitating or managing the content for these opportunities. We recommend verifying with your supervisor that the opportunities you select from this list will count as paid work time. Your supervisor will be your point-of-contact to verify your participation and ensure you get paid for the hours you participate in this type of PD.
Here are some examples of the types of PD you can access remotely during this time:
- Printable PDFs to work on from home
- Online courses
- Webinars
- ...and more!
