Positive Parenting Program (PPP or Triple P)- is a program that helps parents learn skills to manage behaviors. There are groups available, in person and online offered in English and Spanish.
Parent Ambassadors - is a program for Head Start and ECEAP
Help Me Grow Washington is similar to WA 2-11 in it helps families find resources and support in their area

Support for Parents & Caregivers of Individuals with Disabilities or Special Healthcare Needs

Pierce County Parent to Parent (P2P) program- part of PAVE which provides outreach and support to parents and caregivers of individuals with disabilities or special healthcare needs. There are 26 local county programs in WA
Autism Therapy at UW Autism (Tacoma Satellite Office)- 253-692-4711. Please note- they do use ABA-based techniques.
Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) or "Early Intervention" at Pierce County Human Services 253-798-3790 which can help provide services to families with children under the age of 3 who are experiencing developmental delays and/or have a medical condition that impacts typical development
NAMI Family Support Group- peer led support for any adult with a loved one who has experienced symptoms of mental health condition.
- Currently meets 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at TACID from 6-730pm.

Support for Parents around Issues of Abuse

Hope Sparks supports children and families who have experiences trauma or abuse. Through their Family Support Services, they offer a variety of services for families including home visits, positive parenting, mentoring, and direct support for children

Support for Parents with Substance Use History

Mom & Women's Support Group- via Multicultural Child + Family Hope Center for moms who have experienced DV, housing instability, and/or in recovery. The group focuses on parenting strategies, etc.. 253-533-9361 or 253-272-0903 for more information
