Institutional Assessment

Mission Statement 

Institutional Assessment (AI) is dedicated to engaging the campus community in assessment related efforts by developing a cycle, providing guidance and creating resources to help all areas contribute to the process of continuous improvement. IA supports Tacoma Community College’s mission by leading academic assessment and institutional effectiveness efforts.

Success Outcomes

1. Collaborate with colleagues to create and disseminate college wide assessment processes. 
2. Guide members of the Assessment Team so they can support their represented areas in the assessment cycle. 
3. Create and share assessment resources and practices. 
4. Increase the use of Watermark software for assessment purposes  
5. Track the completion of assessments that contribute to the achievement of the TCC mission/ strategic plan.
