EHR Documentation Standards Activity

Activity Description

This activity has been developed as an introduction to documentation standards in the electronic health record. Students will be presented with generally accepted professional standards of documentation, the use of abbreviations in medical records and the application of medical terminology. The student will answer questions that will expand on their current knowledge of documentation and medicine as well as apply critical thinking skills. The student will need to use additional resources to complete this activity.

  4. Apply current knowledge of electronic health records and appropriate, accurate documentation.
