Chat in Canvas is very similar to the IM (or instant messages) you can send in a variety of different online applications. This is a closed system, which means that you can only get and send messages from people within your own class. It can be helpful when you are collaborating or have a question and the professor is only. This may be a way that professors can hold online office hours.
Your task:
- Click on Chat in Canvas
- Enter some appropriate text in the text box.
- Click Send.
- Take a screenshot.
- Submit the saved screenshot as a PNG, PDF, or JPEG/JPG file OR paste the screenshot into a Word document for attachment.
- Attach the file
- In the Text entry box for this assignment, explain how you would use this or how you have used this already. (50+ words)
