Quiz: Ch 2.4, 3.1 & 3.2

The following instructions are for our timed online quiz. 

• Access and Availability

  • Quizzes are completed online through the course LMS.

  • Each quiz opens and closes at the times posted. Late submissions are not accepted once the quiz closes.

• Time Limit

  • Once you begin the quiz, the timer will start and cannot be paused.

  • You must submit your quiz before the time expires. Unsubmitted work will be automatically submitted when time runs out.

• Attempts

  • Unless otherwise stated, quizzes allow one attempt only.

  • Be sure you are prepared before starting.

• Question Format

  • Questions may include multiple-choice (mostly), fill-in-the-blank, short-answer, or problem-solving questions.

  • Answers must be entered exactly as requested. Pay close attention to notation, signs, and rounding instructions.

• Work and Scratch Paper

  • You are required to show work on scratch paper and submit it as part of the completion of the quiz.

  • Keep your work for the remainder of the quarter to ensure you have evidence of work to reflect.

• Calculator and Resources

  • Graphing Calculator use is allowed. Please familiarize yourself with the functions before starting the quiz.

  • You may use notes and textbooks; however, websites, AI tools, and collaboration with others are not permitted.

  • You do not have time to look up the information from your notes or textbook.  Please prepare and practice BEFORE starting the quiz.

• Academic Integrity

  • Quizzes must be completed independently.

  • Any form of academic dishonesty may result in a score of zero and further disciplinary action, as outlined in the course policy.

• Technical Issues

  • Ensure a stable internet connection is in place before starting.

  • If you experience a technical problem, document the issue (screenshots, error messages) and contact me immediately, mkkim@tacomacc.edu or message me through Canvas.

• Review and Submission

  • Review your answers before submitting.

  • Once submitted, answers cannot be changed.
